The BJP will announce Delhi's new Chief Minister at 7pm today through the party's two central observers who have been tasked with electing the leader of Delhi legislature party. The announcement comes after gathering consensus among the 48 newly elected MLAs. Once agreement is reached on the Chief Minister's face, BJP MLAs will proceed to Raj Niwas to stake claim before Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena to form the new government. This formal meeting with the Lieutenant Governor will officially initiate the process of government formation in Delhi.
