This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Kasper d/b/a FinalLayer ("FinalLayer," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about users ("you" or "users") of the FinalLayer platform and all associated services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy in its entirety, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.
1. Use of Google User Data
This section explains how FinalLayer accesses and uses your Google account data.
1.1 What Google Data We Access
When you connect your Google account to FinalLayer, we request access to the following Google user data:
- Email address – Used to create and authenticate your FinalLayer account
- Basic profile information (name, profile photo) – Used to personalize your account experience
- OAuth access token – Used to maintain secure authentication to your Google account
1.2 Why We Need This Data
We access your Google user data exclusively to provide FinalLayer's core functionality:
- Email address: Required to create your account, send you one-time password (OTP) verification codes, and enable core Service features
- Basic profile information: Used to display your name and photo within the FinalLayer interface
- OAuth token: Necessary to securely authenticate your identity and maintain your session
1.3 How We Use Google Data (Limited Use Disclosure)
FinalLayer's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use Google user data only to provide and improve FinalLayer's core features. Specifically:
- We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes
- We do not use Google user data for marketing purposes
- We do not use Google user data to build user profiles for any purpose other than providing the Service
- We do not sell or rent Google user data to any third party
- We do not combine Google user data with data from third-party sources for profiling, enrichment, or any purpose outside of providing the Service
- We do not use Google user data for cross-context behavioral tracking or targeted advertising
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as strictly necessary to provide the Service (such as cloud hosting providers acting on our behalf)
1.4 How Long We Keep Google Data
We retain Google user data only as long as necessary to provide the Service:
- Email address: Retained for the lifetime of your account; deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Basic profile information: Retained for the lifetime of your account; deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- OAuth tokens: Stored securely and invalidated immediately when you disconnect your Google account or delete your FinalLayer account
1.5 How to Revoke Access
You may revoke FinalLayer's access to your Google account at any time by:
- Visiting your Google Account permissions page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Selecting FinalLayer from the list of connected apps
- Clicking "Remove Access"
When you revoke access, we immediately stop accessing your Google data and delete your OAuth tokens. Your email address and basic profile information will be retained only as long as your FinalLayer account remains active, and will be deleted within 30 days if you also delete your FinalLayer account.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Us Directly
When you use our Service, you provide us with personal information including:
- Email address – Required for account creation and authentication via one-time passwords (OTP)
- User Content – Your search queries, prompts, and content you create or upload to the Service, including text, images, audio, video, or other multimedia materials
- Communications – Information from your correspondence with us via email, support requests, feedback submissions, feature requests, bug reports, or user interviews
We process this information to operate and maintain the Service, provide customer support, implement product improvements, and fulfill our obligations under our Terms of Service. We may contact you via email to deliver product updates, usage guidance, security alerts, and responses to your support inquiries.
2.2 Information We Receive from Third-Party Applications
LinkedIn Account Connection
When you connect your LinkedIn profile to our Service, we receive:
- LinkedIn ID
- Name
- Organizational affiliation
- Access token
- Post history (if you grant permission)
This data collection is governed by LinkedIn's privacy policy and your LinkedIn privacy settings. By linking your LinkedIn account, you consent to our collection and processing of this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You may disconnect your LinkedIn account at any time, after which we will cease receiving your LinkedIn information.
Social Media Interactions
When you interact with our social media presence on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn, we may collect information you choose to share, including social media handles, name, location, profile photos, shared media, comments, and related activity. Such collection occurs in accordance with both this Privacy Policy and the respective social media platforms' privacy policies.
2.3 Information We Collect Automatically
We and our approved third-party service providers automatically collect information about how you use our Service ("Usage Data") through technologies like cookies, pixels, tags, and other tracking tools ("Tracking Technologies").

If you grant third-party services (such as social media platforms) access to your User Content through the Service, you do so at your own risk. We cannot control how these third parties collect, use, or handle your information once you authorize such access.
This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected through the Service and does not cover information collected through other channels or offline methods.

This section provides information about the countries where our Service is currently available.
Our Service is available in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Israel, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tunisia, United States, and Vietnam as of this version. If you are not in these countries, please send an email to support@finallayer.com; we'll add you to the waiting list and inform you when the service is ready in your country. We are working to enable the service worldwide within the next few quarters.
9.1 Considerations for Users in the United States
This section applies to FinalLayer users located in the United States.
State Privacy Rights
Users in certain U.S. states have specific privacy rights under state laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act). Information about FinalLayer's personal information collection practices over the past twelve months is detailed in Section 2 "Information We Collect." Your Rights

Exercise of Rights

We will verify requests using the email address associated with the user's FinalLayer account and may require proof of state residency.
