# Content Pillars

> Content Pillars define the broad topic areas for your posts. The system uses these pillars to generate relevant content ideas based on an optimal weekly distribution.

## Initial Setup

When a profile is first connected, Content Pillars are automatically generated based on professional background and expertise.

## Modifying Content Pillars

<Steps>
  <Step>Click **Modify with AI** in the top right corner.</Step>
  <Step>Add new pillars or remove existing ones as needed.</Step>
  <Step>Each pillar should represent a distinct topic area relevant to the user's expertise.</Step>

## Target Audience

Define the intended audience for content creation:

  <Step>Navigate to **Target Audience** in the left sidebar</Step>
  <Step>Set the **Primary Audience** - the main target demographic</Step>
  <Step>Set the **Secondary Audience** - additional groups to reach</Step>

## Reference Documents

Add company-specific materials to personalize content:
